The construction of the two castles dates back to 1312: the Lower Castle, known as the Da Basso Castle , and the Upper Castle. The construction of the walls instead began on March 1372. There are four doors that allow access to the historic center. Along the walls there are walkways, the same ones that in ancient times allowed a guard service.
