Behind The Lens

I took this photo in our back garden during an out of the ordinary snow storm that the Netherlands hasn't seen in 45 years.
This was taken in the afternoon at 1630. The combination of the light and snow fall was at a perfect moment.
I wanted this photo to portray the pure innocence of a pups first snowstorm. The lighting was completely natural light.
This was taken with the Nikon D500 Tamron 70-200mm 2.8 G2. No other equipment was needed.
It has been a rough year for everyone. For us our girl Nova was expecting a litter of pups in February 2020. At the same time our Sweet Boy Shiloh's health took a drastic turn for the worst and we had to let him go on the 27th of February 2020. 3 weeks sweet little girl Sequel came home with here momma. This snow storm was a very freak occurrence for the Netherlands, it's been 45 years since such a storm. This storm was in February of this year (our Sweet Boy Shiloh loved the snow) and it was little Sequel's first snow and I wanted to capture the pure innocence of her first snow and honoring the memory of Shiloh who blessed us with 16 years and 2 months.
Just some minor adjustments and did lighten the fence and removed a part of our shed out of the background.
In my camera bag
Everything haha...I have my everyday use bag and my need everything in the world bag ????. My everyday use bag has my Nikon D500, Tamron 70-200mm 2.8 G2. My everything in the world bag has my Nikon D500, Nikon D610, Tamron 70-200mm 2.8 G2, Tamron 24-70mm 2.8, Tamron 90mm 2.8, Tamron 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3, Tamron 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3, Nikkor 50mm 1.8, a monopod and a full heavy duty tripod both from Manfrotto. Also have a very old off camera flash and a rain kit for camera. Have more stuff also but these are all the main things and not to forget cleaning cloths and batteries.
I really don't have any true advice because I am still learning myself and nowhere even close to being a great photographer. My only advice is don't give up and keep trying different things because photography is really an evolving art. You have to find what works for you and your style.
