Christophe Roguet takes on a huge wave in Tarifa, Spain on a stand-up paddle (SUP) board.
Tarifa is well known for its strong winds, but waves are something of a rarity, especially when the levante (east wind) is blowing. And waves of this size, well, I’ve never seen it before.
This was taken on “Big Friday” from the causeway that leads out to Tarifa Island, separating the Mediterranean from the Atlantic. El Balneario, Los Lances beach.
