This is the most simple stone church I have found in Holland.
The church was built in 1719. It was built on the remains of an old barn that went down in 1717 as a result of a river flood.
It is now a brick hall church with a three-sided closed choir. In the 19th century, the church was equipped with a roof rack.
The church suffered damage during World War II, and was restored from 1961-1962. when a small clock tower was added.
