There is a head and an eye in there somewhere!
Our fan-tailed dove, Eugenie, showing the extraordinary contortions she will go to in the process of preening after a bath.
This is all a regular exercise that the bird likes to do - washing and preening are very important, after all! She is very good at letting us know when she would like to have some fresh, slightly warm water for her plastic container!
