I took this photo in my outdoor garden.Time
I take photos all through the day as I keep milkweed in my garden specifically to attract the butterflies. Milkweed is a host plant for monarchs. Yet in this photo it is on different greenery and I do not know the specific type of butterfly, yet beautiful.Lighting

The photo was taken using my Cannon PowerShot Red camera. I keep a wrist strap on it and rarely go without it everywhere in attempt to be ready as we never know when that next amazing subject will come about!Inspiration
As the photo was taken and uploaded Jan 2021, most likely I was outdoor in my garden taking photos of nature. That is very therapeutic for me. Around that time, one of my best friends in this life passed on to her eternal home in heaven with Jesus. God rest her soul in peace and love. It seems in life that when a loved one passes on from this life, a butterfly will appear. Like the egg to the caterpillar to the chrysalis to the emerging birth of the butterfly for a certain amount of time to fly then return, it is a type/shadow of a Christian's life with the Host plant needed for survival being Jesus. The full cycle is wonderful to learn and see in macro. My friend's name is Jean Mong and she was as beautiful as this butterfly inside and out. Always smiling, laughing when we could which was every time we spoke almost daily as she lived over 1,000 miles from me yet we cherished our time in many ways with the help of phones, skyping, facetime, etc. I selected this photo to dedicate for her life which was blessed beyond measure. Jean is loved, blessed, cherished, remembered with all good memories.Editing
I did do post processing to this photo because I wanted it to remain natural yet look like a touch of heaven to surround it as it was created to be a memory dedication as mentioned above...In my camera bag
I am a basic simple type that uses my camera, battery, wrist strap and I try to keep a second battery and extra sdisk card with me.Feedback
I always feel that when you enjoy the subject to capture the photos it is the best way of engaging with the subject. Enjoy what you are shooting at! Fast subjects take patience to capture it very clear so do not be in a hurry. Enjoy!
