Waters Flow

A creek coming from a hillside provided this photo opportunity. I took a series of photos that day of this creek.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo Wass taken right outside Anchorage Alaska along the Turnigan Arm.

Time

It was a fall cloudy day. I had to come back a couple of times to get the photos I would eventually like learning from my first mistakes.

Lighting

Weather in Alaska can be that wet drizzly day in a the fall or spring.

Equipment

I se a canon 5DMKIII. For this shot I brought my tripod.

Inspiration

Trying to capture water can be a difficult and it actually takes several photos of practicing to either stop movement or show movement of the water.

Editing

A little post processing, most cropping to get the photo right.

In my camera bag

My personal go to lens is a 24-105mm Canon L series lens.

Feedback

A lot of landscape photography is being at the right place at the right time and with good tools. For this photo I was able to use what light was given. One of the other problems with trying to take this photo was previous times there was too much water.
