This night shot is a combination of long shutter time, zoom burst and intentional camera movement. There is in fact only two lanes on either side of the lane divider on this road, plus only 5 or 6 vehicles. By intentionally moving the camera I created a scene that appears to have many roads and vehicles. Either side of this section of motorway are empty fields, which was necessary to create the image.

On the right of the image-road is a small crew of road workers getting their machinery ready for their night shift. The digger can be seen fairly clearly when examined closely.

I created this image after realising that combining the three techniques is not something that I have seen before. Thus creating a truly original image, something that is extremely difficult in todays marketplace.
