This image was clicked at Hampi, India. Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well and Hampi was listed in the Must Visit Global Destinations of 2019 in New York Times. Hampi is one such place where every broken piece of a rock, a temple calls you to tell its story. In this image, the reflection is adding more meaning to it, I feel. Hence the name Reflection kde the Ruin.Time
It was a sunny day. Image was captured in the afternoon.Lighting
I have used the natural light and also the reflection plays a very important role.Equipment
I have used Canon 1300D, 18-55 kit lensInspiration
I am always curious about historic places and particularly Hampi is one of my favorites. The reason for it being favorite is, in the era of Hampi's peak, they used to sell pearls in streets. It was a land of richness. Everything was at peak. And one day everything got destroyed. So, I wanted to capture that 'meaning' of destruction. So, reflection helped me here to do so.Editing
Yes, I have cropped the image as per my framing technique. And also, I have enhanced the colors and also, added vignette to the skyIn my camera bag
I would always have Canon 1300D with 3 lenses. i.e. 18-55mm, 55-250mm, 50mm lensesFeedback
Hampi is one of the most photographed places in India. So, it is always important to search for different perspective. And please try to understand the history of each place and try to bring in that meaning in the photos
