' Black Grapes ', is a macro food photography image of a bunch of Sable Grapes newly washed and drying on a chopping board . Not a studio shot , this is taken in a home kitchen using the natural afternoon light available at the left side of the workbench . Taken in black and white and at a low POV this single study still life of fruit was taken to stretch my abilities at using natural light sources and gaining realistic detail in tricky conditions yet still producing a creative composition with real dimension and depth while using black and white which is often hard to achieve in an unedited way whilst photographing fruit and flowers of similar shapes with minute contrasting details . Macro Food Photography.
