Taken on Newborough Beach on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK , one of the most spectacular beaches in the World , in my opinion , on a particularly chilly and choppy day. ' The Lookout ', takes some of the major elements of a walk near the Sea as a subtext to give a storytelling perspective to enhance the main theme of the image which is the multivariate layers and textures that can be seen on a look out to the sea from getting down and dirty to beach level. The light although challenging at that point in the day and from the perspective of the sand did not diminish what was intended and by wiping away some of the high colour that can be achieved in seascapes actually helped to further the theme by showing the diversity of tones that can be seen in the pastel aqua and grey colour palette.
