Taken as part of an ongoing collection of photographs called , " Over the Garden Wall" , featuring photographs of the interesting and unusual things I see leaning on or over the walls and hedges I pass on daily walks around my village of Llanfachraeth on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. ' The Last Post ' , is an Abstract Perspective of a Rural Footpath Landscape Composition in the winter months. Using the natural light and textures available in the single subject of the last fence post before the stone bridge under a covering of hoar frost and shallow depth with a blurred background of hedgerows and the footpath it creates a more contemporary angle whilst still producing a classic five senses view of the British countryside . Macro photography and various natural manipulation techniques finish the overall polish on the image stylisation. Seasonal Nature Landscape Composition Photography.
