Location
The photo was taken in my garden, it features two ladybirds huddled together on the frosty branch of the apple tree in the WinterTime
I took it in the morning while there was still natural daylight.Lighting
It was shot with natural light which was diffused by the cloudy skyEquipment
This was shot with a Canon 700D and a 50mm prime lens.Inspiration
Whilst wandering around the garden looking at what needed to be done, I noticed the ladybirds on the apple tree and was intrigued by how they were sheltering under the branch of the tree waiting for the Spring.Editing
Apart from some cropping no.In my camera bag
In my kit bag I have my canon camera body, a 50mm prime lens, a 100mm macro lens, a reflector, a remote shutter release cable, tripod, sd cards, ring flash, Gary fong flash diffuserFeedback
Spend some time walking around outside, stop and have a good look at the branches and bushes in the garden or in the countryside, you never know what you might find.
