Location
This photo was shot at home with the first good rain storm we had in the winter. She was so excited to test out her rain gear.Time
Afternoon. Lighting wasn’t a issue with the active rain and cloud cover.Lighting
Not on this one. Lighting was not an issue due to the cloud cover and resultant rain.Equipment
Canon EOS Rebel T1Inspiration
The smiles on both my daughters faces inspired me to get the camera. See their pure joy is a memory to be saved and cherished.Editing
A slight increase in saturation and whites was all I needed to bring out the colors in this photo and make sure the viewer could appreciate the layers of raindrops. In my camera bag
I always keep my telephoto and wide angle on hand because I never know what will present itself.Feedback
I shot this one at f/4. I may be able to get more rain with a wide angle and larger aperture. Shoot, shoot, shoot and work in post to show the perfect shot. Action shots are a challenge to get one “timed” just right.
