Location
This photo waa taken in camden,nj. About june 1999.Time
This call came out around 10am and i arrived at 11 am as the 2nd alarm was called inLighting
I used natural lighting for this shot. I looked from different angles before i took the shotEquipment
In this photo it was a minolta qtsi with a 150mm lens and no filters.Inspiration
I was contracted by different fire departments to do their photography work while i was a volunteer firefighter as well. Even though with this town i waa not contracted the station i was with was on call at this sceneEditing
I did no post processing on this photo. It is all natural. In my camera bag
I normally carry 2 cameras (slr and a dslr), lens, filters, sd cards, 35mm, flash, batteries, tripod, notepad and pen, alchohol wipes, and microfiber clothFeedback
When ever doing a shot like this always have time to adjust (move to different sides). Always keep sun behind you when shooting straight at a fire scene (adds more interest and intensity to the shot). Most importantly make sure you know fire marshals if your not a firefighter. Cause they wont let you in.
