This shot was captured at the Sandbar State Park, on Lake Champlain, Colchester Vermont.

Now and then the Lake is like calm glass, and a great opportunity to get reflection shots of the local waterfowl

Equipment

I love my nikon 7500. I did not have a tripod so I sat in the sand in propped my elbows on my knees to assure a steady shot.

Inspiration

I often go to the state park to watch and photograph the seagulls fishing for crabs. This particular day always come and it was a great day to focus on reflections.

Editing

Daily processing used was to crop the original picture and converted to black-and-white.

In my camera bag

When walking on the beach all I carry is my camera with my 300 mmeter lens.
