My dog, Peter Parker is attempting friendship with "Crumples". Ms. Crumples is a pure monarch butterfly received her name because when she came forth from her chrysalis, she could not get her wings to uncurl fully and straighten, therefore; she can not fly so we are keeping her here in net as long as she lives as a pet butterfly. She is kept in a big zip net with blossomed flowers, milkweed which is a host plant although she will not be able to lay eggs without a male encounter. Sugar water and some sliced fresh fruit with regular water also. Peter will go to her setting and peek in at her as if checking if she is ok. They are so cute together. I love animals and how the Lord has a way for different species to interact.
