USA, California, Malibu- December 14 2020 - The resent King Tides in Malibu gives us a vision of the California sea levels in the future. King Tides occur when the earth, sun and moon align resulting in high tides. In this photo-The water from the high tides strikes the shoreline and the wooden poles that have been placed to prevent beach erosion.
The King Tide Project studies beach erosion and water levels to get an understanding to how the shores will look in the future giving us an understanding of Global Warming.
This photo was exciting for me . I dragged the shutter to highlight the motion of the waves and the power of these waves as they crash.
