A final image from that October visit to St Michael's Mount when my camera battery was flashing... and I forgot my spare!
I had to wait for the light and be much pickier with my shots. Battery hungry long exposures were out the question, but there was just enough movement in the water for a slow shutter of 1 second to work.
It was an incoming mid-tide. So the causeway was partially submerged. As the tide came in and I retreated back along the causeway, I had to keep composing new shots. I chose to use the large rocks as foreground interest.
