📍 Ladock Woods

🍂🍁🍂 Our mild November has meant that woodland mist has pretty much eluded me (other than a thin haze at Cardinham Woods). But...

On this trip to Laddock Woods I was treated to some drizzle (or mizzle if you're local) which really helped to soften the scene as it was illuminated by cloud-diffused sunlight. Most people don't enjoy drizzle... but as I've gained experience in landscape photography, I've found that it's often the "bad" weather that produces moodier images :)

Taken in mid-November following strong winds, most of the trees here had shed most of their leaves (leaving a few delicate splashes of colour), except for one straggler displaying intense autumn colour against it's cool surroundings (which I emphasised with some subtle colour grading).
