Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Melbourne, Australia.

Time

It was around 9 a.m. on a sunny winter's day.

Lighting

I was really lucky with the lighting as the sun rays fought their way through the tops of the trees and lit the steam of the train just perfectly.

Equipment

Canon 80D and a Sigma 18-35 f1.8 Art Lens.

Inspiration

I visited a friend of mine in Australia and he told me about this spot and offered to take me there. I had no clue what it would look like but wanted to give it a try and definitely think it was worth it!

Editing

I did some color corrections and general processing in Adobe LR.

In my camera bag

The equipment used was my traveling equipment in 2018, today I work with the Canon 5D IV and various Canon L lenses.

Feedback

Sometimes you just gotta take the risk, be open for whatever may come and eventually you might end up a shot worth remembering a life time!
