Behind The Lens

Location

It is taken near the Ordesa y Monte Perdido national park in the Pyrenees. Huesca. Spain. Specifically in the Bujaruelo valley.

Time

It was first thing in the morning, maybe 7:30, before sunrise. We arrived at the national park with the intention of photographing the forest in autumn but the number of visitors was full and we took this nearby alternative.

Lighting

The day was clear and the perfect dawn light was dim.

Equipment

My team consists of a Nikon d810 camera and two lenses with which I do almost all my work: Nikon 14-24 and 24-70mm AF-S 1: 2.8G ED.Manfrotto 190 tripod and various ND and GND filters, polarizer, ...

Inspiration

There are landscapes with extraordinary beauty that you try to capture and Ordesa is one of them. We went in the month of October knowing that this beauty would be overflowing.

Editing

This photograph has a simple post-processed following some elementary steps in light and color. Frequency separation in lights and shadows. I'm not a great PS expert. I like to occupy my time in the field.
