Location
This photo was taken on a local creek (in the southwest part of Slovenia), which features this amazing stone bridge. It is called by the locals Napoleon's Bridge although no historical records exist that would link Napoleon to this particular structure.Time
It was early in the afternoon, I was actually looking for a more dim light in order to enhance the long exposure effect. A fun fact about this capture is that while I was trying to reach the perfect spot by the river, I slipped on the muddy river bank and fell straight into a bush of nettle. The result were muddy pants and blisters all over my hands, but this did not stop me from getting what I wanted!Lighting
I looked for an overgrown spot on the river in order to be able to use a lower ISO and smaller aperture (plus my ND filter, of course). It was an overcast day, so the lighting turned out to be just right for this effect.Equipment
As usual, tripod, ND filter and my trusty 18-55 lens.Inspiration
I always admired this spot, since I was a little girl and we went swimming under the bridge when the water was high enough.Editing
Not much, just a bit of shadow correction. In my camera bag
I rely on my Canon 2000D, although it is not super professional, I think it is a decent camera and light enough for me to carry it around on my adventures. I always carry my 18-55 lens, as well as an older, 28-280 lens and a zoom lens.Feedback
Try to capture the places and moments you treasure the most. Regardless of the geographical location, they will bring the best out of you. Inspiration is the key ingredient in every good photo. It is not all about equipment, technique and perfection, but more about the emotions your photo is capable of transmitting to the viewer.
