I found this interesting fence on one of our group bicycle rides, so I have returned on several occasions to take pictures at this beautiful historic community. the whole fenceline is covered with old bicycles, of various ages, all painted white.
Summer's Mill is located on FM 1123, between Belton and Holland, Texas. The community started off as an old mill on the Lampasas River, back in 1866. A small community grew up around the mill, but over the years the stores and school have closed. The small town has been converted into the Summers Mill Retreat and Conference Center, and is open to groups wanting to meet for conferences and fellowship.
