As a photographer you come to the Alpe di Siusi in October because of the yellow larches. This year the seasons were a bit crazy: the larches were still green, but plenty of snow had already fallen. The last time it had snowed two days before this wonderful morning and since it was still quite warm during the day, part of the snow had already melted again, so that unfortunately there was no complete winter wonderland. Nevertheless, it was enough for an almost closed snow cover ... Winter in autumn!
