Contrary to expectations, it was not that easy to find yellow larches in photogenic locations in late October 2020. Below 2000 meters the larches were still green, but above that a lot of snow had already fallen, which made hiking difficult, and some smaller lakes were also frozen over. But yellow larches, snow and a winding mountain road from a bird's eye view make a difference.
