Just before sunset in West Central Texas, high on a butte, west of San Angelo, the moment was captured just before a strong cold front passed through, layering this area in ice and sleet, only 36 hours later- unheard of for October. With layers of smoke in the distance, west of the area, the sunset became a brilliant gold, casting its beams across the land.
