Ice Age Hiking Trail is an all preserved trail for the outdoorsman who love to hike or jog through the woodland areas. The hiking trail goes on for about four and a half miles of beautiful scenery with trees that are preserved as well as plants not commonly seen anywhere else. We were able to hike this trail during the Autumn months where the trees were brightly colored as well as mushrooms that were not commonly noticed anywhere else. The trail has many hills as well as a small river view. The steeper hills are great for exercise and best hiked from early morning til late afternoon. Nature also advances to hearing a variety of birds and is glorious for moments of peace.

I find hiking trails make the best Autumn photographs. Nature is simple in it's own way and yet has a natural essence without the hectic of always being in the city limits. For a time quiet is a much needed time to reflect
