Strong wind, freezing cold, sprays of water on the lens...
You have to compose, setting the camera, connect remote shutter, level the tripod and prevent it from sinking into the sand, focus with the right depth of field, clean the lens often and shoot for as long as possible because you don't know when there will be the right wave, the best and the only shape for your composition.
I am often in these conditions, but after many years it is always an hard exercise for body and mind, you must be strong, patient and concentrated.
