Here is my first early morning sunrise photo from a person who rather want to stay in his warm bad on a cold day. This experience, being alone in the nature, watching the sunrise and experiencing the wild life and nature waking up was epic.

Thank you. This image was planned to be shot at the right time of the autumn and at sunrise.

Location
This photo is taken in the Icelandic National park called ÞingvellirTime
I had this composition planned for weeks and was waiting for the right condition. When the right weather forecast finally came, I had to wake up at 6:00AM and drive for 45 minutes to be there in time for the sunrise which was at 7:15. I had only few minutes to fine tune my composition when I saw where the light was best and was running with my tripod and camera back and forth until I found my place with the bush in the foreground.Lighting
I know that at this time of the year the sun would come up behind the buildings which was my plan. I also wanted to shoot the picture just before the sun would be visible to have more purple light on the sky.Equipment
I used Canon 5D Mrk II with 16-35 f4 lens and Manfrotto tripod. No filters where used.Inspiration
I have been there many times and done a lot of shots there, but never at sunrise. This place is well situated for the sunrise in the East so I though why not try that for a change and do something different.Editing
The post processing was mostly done in Lightroom, but first I transferred two images to Photoshop for focus stacking and then finished in Lightroom. I made only a minor fine tuning to this image, some graduated filters on the sky and the foreground to bring more focus to the middle of the picture. In my camera bag
The equipment I usually have in my bag is my Canon 5D Mrk II, three Canon f4 lenses, 17-35, 24-105 and 70-200. I also have Lee filters, one hard graduated and 2, 6 and 10 stop ND as well as polarized filter, which I use a lot.Feedback
My advice is to plan ahead, know the right time of sunrise and be there an hour earlier to put up your gear and fine tune your composition. Keep your ISO at minimum and your aperture to your sharpest, usually f11. I took two image for focus stacking. When the sky gets brighter you might want to add graduated filter to even the light with your foreground, or you could do two exposures.
