As I do not have a proper studio I do all my boudoir shoots in my home, in my spare bedroom. May it's not a studio but boudoir is not about the background, is more about the subject.Time
I can't remember exactly what time it was but I'm sure it was morning hours on a november day.Lighting
I used only natural light, I wanted to create a moody dark photo with high contrast. It was a bit dark outside as well as it was overcast but I had enough light to create this photo.Equipment
I used only my much loved Canon 5D MKIV with Canon 24-70mm 2.8 IIInspiration
I see so many boudoir photo about women, but not that much about men so I wanted to give it a try because this was my first male boudoir session and I really loved it. I had some difficulties because my model was very tall and I'm very short so I couldn't do much eye level photos so I asked him to lay down on to the bed to allow me to shoot from above.Editing
Not that much, but I allways like to play a bit with the contrast, highligh and clarity. In my camera bag
I have a huge list for this question but what is allways with me is my Canon 5D MKIV, Canon 50mm 1.8, Canon 24-70mm 2.8 II, Canon 70-200mm 2.8II, Pixapro Flash, Citi 300 Pro strobe light, Manfrotto tripod, some vintage lenses like Helios, Vivitar and Pentacon, also use filters occasionally.Feedback
Find the right model, read articols about how to shoot boudoir and is very important the posing. Different poses goes for woman and man. Make your model comfortable with posing and showing themself, if you shoot with someone non professional model can be really hard for them to pose without clothes.
