Behind The Lens
Location
This was in Ridgway, Colorado. We were dealing with a lot of smoke in the air so I took to the aspen groves and found myself in clean air again.Time
This was taken towards the end of the day. When natural light isn’t quite as intense.Lighting
When the sun is past its peak but still high in the sky, it really brings out that golden color of the leaves while maintaining a beautiful blue contrast of the sky.Equipment
Simply my Tamron 24-70mm lens attached to my canon 70D.Inspiration
Autumn brings about the photographer in all of us. So I take nature walks thru the mountains and forests of Colorado looking for creative ways to express the changing of the seasons.Editing
Slight color enhancement. In my camera bag
I always have my Tamron 24-70mm for crisp pictures of most things I see. Also a macro lens for a more intense field of view and macro pictures of course. And a telephoto if I encounter wildlife.Feedback
Be brave and venture where the population is minimal for shots the majority of the world will never see.
