Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo was taken in a Crop Field that was located near my home as it was near the hillside there were a lot of farmers who had their crop lands and did seasonal harvest .

Time

This was around 12-1in the afternoon . It was an overcast with cold winds blowing and during this shot the sky has cleared up and the sun was peeking out giving the sufficient light I needed .

Lighting

As I mentioned it was an overcast and the light was not ample enough to get those shadows but towards the end of my shoot I was able to see the shine of the sun which helped fill those shadows and give me a good overall lighting .

Equipment

I used a Nikon D5600 with the 70-300mm lens handheld .. I was close to the ground to give that view .

Inspiration

Honestly it was for a project on farmers in for a photography competition. But when I talked to them and knew their hardships and the time and effort thy put in in this harvests it completely changed my mind and I then just wanted to photograph the best possible portraits of them doing their work in the field .

Editing

I just recovered some of the sky and a color grade

In my camera bag

I normally have a Nikon or a Canon not any fancy model but a D5600 or a 1200D and ocassuonally a tripod . I am more interested in Wildlife and Environment so I am searching for some good lenses and bodies for now.

Feedback

Just focus on what you are trying to capture focus if your thoughts are replicated in the photos you take and also do it for yourself . Most major thing enjoy the process. I still remember the process the struggle to get to that harvest land inside those mud going under fences since the road was full of water and mud and then the end result was just more satisfactory and calming .
