This one flew really close and just looked down the lens into my eyes and i just loved it..
Making it black and white gave it more dimension and shape and the black background just enhanced it more..

Location
This photo was taken from my way back home through a rural village where i saw this Cattle Egret flew really cross to me and perched on the bank of a wall with a big mango tree behind . The light was also perfect to capture al the details it had and most importantly the look it gave to me with those frowning eyes gave it a whole lot more dimension .Time
It was around 10:30 in the morning and the sun light was just a little bit harsh but good enough to capture all those details .Lighting
It was all just natural light and i was fortunate enough to also sight the Egret and take the photo in the same time otherwise it may have not came out like this .Equipment
I used the Canon 1200D and the Canon 55-250mm f4-5.6 lens .Inspiration
I always had in my mind to take a perfect black and white portrait of a bird close to me with dramatic lighting and something that gives a feel of being present right there in the moment . So when i encounter this Cattle Egret so closely i got that picture in my head and got the shot i wanted from such a long time and it became one of my favorite shot of all time .And now its hanging on my wall reminding me of this very moment every time i look at itEditing
I just made it Black and White and made that background manipulation and just gave a little more contrast and detailing to the shotIn my camera bag
Canon 1200D and Nikon D5300 and a Tripod with Wide and Telephoto Zoom LensesFeedback
Just look for the moment you want to capture and pay attention on the emotions you want to share. And love what you take and keep shooting more and more.
