This is the doorstep of the flat above the shop in my village. I call the tenant Smiley , as we have never spoken but often smile and wave at each other if they are sat in my window when I pass by. The vibrant colours aren't just because of a colourful personality incharge of the decor , this happens to be the colours of the franchise that runs many local shops across Britain and the owner of our shop has tried to make the most of the need to paint a shop an unflattering shade of yellow in the centre of a traditional Welsh village . Part of a collection of Photography called , " Over the Garden Wall ", featuring the interesting and unusual things I see leaning on or over the garden walls that I pass on my daily walks.
