The Klifbrekkufossar waterfall (in the background) is placed in the amazing Mjóifjörður, near the city of Egilsstaðir (North-Eastern, Iceland). The waterfalls (fossar) are part of the Fjarðará river.
Mjóafjarðarvegur is going along the inlet and all the way up to the ringroad. My brother and I came from Egilsstaðir and took the gravel road up above the partly snow covered pass to get down into this valley. 4XD is absolutely necessary to use this road.
I used my Mavic 2 Pro drone for this shot and you will see me and my car in the road bend just in front of the waterfall.
