Most of my photos are really spontaneously taken as i go about day to day life. This photo was taken in the city where im from at a local winery. I stopped there with my son out of curiosity one Saturday when we were just riding around spending quality time together. Everyone else was so impressed by the vines themselves, which were beautiful but I liked the sunflowers the most especially with the vines in the background.Time
This was taken in the early evening around 5 or 6 o'clock in the middle of August.Lighting
The sun was in the perfect position behind me to light up the flowers while being out of the way so i could capture how pretty they were against the backdrop of the beautiful blue sky and fluffy clouds. It helped to make the vineyard the perfect background so the flowers could stand out.Equipment
This photo like most of my other photos were simply taken with my Samsung Note 10+ camera with live focus. No flash, no tripod, just me and my smartphone.Inspiration
It was such a beautiful day and everything on the winery grounds were so picturesque that I couldn't help myself from snapping pics as I walked along. I had never had a more perfect background than the one I had here.Editing
Nope. just Samsung Note10+ camera app with live focus. Point and shoot! In my camera bag
Most of the time when I see something photo worthy i only have my phone with me. On rare instances I will have my little kodak coolpics camera with me but even when I have it close by I forget to use it or it is simpler just to use the phone that's already in my hand. My photos were always just for me, I wasn't trying to impress anyone just capturing the beauty all around me every day so I didnt need a big fancy camera. Since joining viewbug and seeing the reactions my photos get and hearing that they inspire people, I am thinking that I would like to have a big fancy camera after all. I have fallen in love with photography.Feedback
I don't really think that im the right person to be giving photography advice, but I think just open your eyes and really see what all is around you. Take a second or third look from a new perspective, find the beauty that is otherwise hidden in ordinary things. Look through your lens at the world with a new set of eyes.
