Throughout Hawaii you can see chickens roaming around the islands. Even on Oahu, there are chickens to be found. One day as I was riding along the windward side of the island, I decided to stop at a macadamia farm to buy some goods and ran across a family of chickens running around in the nearby trees. I've always found their iridescent plumages to be of particular interest but I thought why not try and make it black and white, which is what I did.
