I had 3 butterflies to release. The sun was still behind the trees. I waited for about a half an hour for the sun to come up over the trees and light up their wings. It was so very worth the wait.
As soon as their wings are warmed up enough by the sun they are ready to take their first flight. Their first flight begins as a flutter and then they learn how to glide.
