Behind The Lens

Location

On a backroad somewhere in Pennsylvania as we were traveling north of Jim Thorpe. Honestly, we got a little lost, it is impossible to say exactly where we were.

Time

It was taken around 3 PM.

Lighting

It was a mostly cloudy day. Which provided fairly even lighting, no harsh shadows or highlights.

Equipment

This was shot with my Nikon D7200 and Sigma 17-70mm.

Inspiration

First of all I love the woods. Second, I love paths through the woods. What inspired me was just how beautiful the scene was.

Editing

Even though the original had more of an Autumn color tone to it I loved the idea of deep greens and strong shadows. So that's what I did. I made the yellows a deep green and created a moody scene by increasing the shadows.

In my camera bag

I always have my Nikon D7200, Sigma 17-70mm, shutter release, polarizing filter and a note book.

Feedback

As always, have fun with it!
