Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken at one of my favourite locations, Lindesnes, Norway.

Time

After a long drive (about 8 hours) we got to Lindesnes. We arrived about 30 minutes before sunset. After setting up the tripod and getting my filters on the lens I managed to get this photo. It was taken at 19:46 at September 9th with a 30 sec exposure to get a blurry sky/sea

Lighting

I prefer to get golden colours in my photos, this is why i always head out during sunsets or sunrise.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D750 with 24.0-120.0 mm f/4.0 kit lens, Manfrotto 055 Tripod and Nisi 10 stop filter with the V5 pro filter holder.

Inspiration

After having seen many nice photos from this lighthouse and surrounding area we decided one day to pack the car and try to get our own photos from this awesome place.

Editing

I had to do some work in post, there was a scaffold I removed. The other things I did was to fix the colours.

In my camera bag

I never want to leave anything behind so my bag is always full with equiptment so I always have it with me in case i need it. I use the Nikon D850 with 24-70mm the most. I also have Nikon 70-200mm f.2,8 and a samyang 14mm 2.8 and 3, 6 & 10 ND filters from Nisi.

Feedback

get out there, and try. I have more failures then succefull attempts.
