It’s a wild bear, and it is taken from a safe photo blind.Equipment
I used my Nikon D850 with nikkor 200-400mm (I think) this setup was mounted on a tripod with a gimbal.Inspiration
I was on a workshop where wildlife photography with bears was the main reason. And with beautiful light I Wanted to focus on a bear portrait as they are very beautiful.Editing
Not much I have done in post, I try to get most done in camera, I have done the basic sliders in LR and put a vignette on, plus a high pass filter to make only the bear face sharperIn my camera bag

Be sure to learn about bears and their behaviour!!! They are predators! But there are places where you can rent a photo blind to photograph wild bears
