A wide angle , minimalist seascape photograph taken on the Welsh Coast at Aberwystwyth in Ceredigion. The people that can just be glimpsed are very hopeful surfers . Their optimism or commitment to their passion seemed to know no bounds as this photograph was taken on a chilly ,misty , midwinter day at the end of February when the water and air seemed to be eerie in its stillness. You've got to admire their positivity though even if the waves never came , perhaps I should have called it , ' Hope Springs Eternal'.
