Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Hocking Hills at Lake Logan. A very popular tourist area for Ohio.

Time

The time was approximately seven ten in the evening. Dusk was setting in the horizon.

Lighting

Natural lighting in the raw image. Editing caused the rest.

Equipment

I took this with my Canon Rebel T6. 18-55mm lense. Handheld. No filters. Edited.

Inspiration

Nature is my main inspiration for photography in general. My family and I were out fishing for the day. We thought my boyfriend caught this turtle. Come to find out... the turtle caught him. The little thing was just bit down on his hook and wouldn't let go because of the worm that was attached to it! Once it finally let go, I took advantage by taking a few photographs. We proceeded to let him go on his way after that.

Editing

Lightroom Mobile was used to enhance clarity, crop & add vignette to give it a little character.

In my camera bag

If I listed everything I normally kept in my bag, it would take an essay. Let's just say I have more that one bag and am very ready for almost anything.

Feedback

My only advice for others is to try to be original. Think outside the box. Stop... breathe... then look at your surroundings. If you see something even slightly beatiful to you... grab it. Snap it. Because once you pass it, that moment is gone forever.
