Behind The Lens
Location
Just outside of Mackinaw City, Michigan. This bridge connects the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. This was shot from the UP.Time
Late afternoon.Lighting
Just the available light.Equipment
Olympus EM-10 with a 40-150 lensInspiration
The bridge is mammoth. It’s an architectural wonder and awe inspiring.Editing
Minimal. I tend to try to nail the exposure and do as little post processing as possible so I can spend more time shooting and less time in post.In my camera bag
On vacation I carry more than when I go out at home. I probably had more lenses than I needed.Feedback
Wait for the right moment and capture it like you’ll never be there again. I go out like that even at home. I put myself in the frame of mind that I have zero chance to reshoot. In essence, it is a true statement because every second is a new moment that you can only capture once.
