Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from Brunate, overlooking the Lake Como in Italy. The picturesque view of the lake along with the city was worth the climb.

Time

After a short climb from the city of Como in Italy, we reached Brunate in the afternoon. While trekking along the hill we came across this beautiful panorama point and decided to grab a few shots.

Lighting

Luckily it was a bright and sunny day. The clouds added the perfect drama to the photo casting shadow on the nearby hills.

Equipment

This was shot on my Redmi Note 4 with ISO 100 and aperture f/2. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

Lake Como is one of the most visited and breathtaking landscapes in the whole world. I wanted to capture the impact it had on it's surroundings. The hill provided an interesting view point to do the same.

Editing

No, this photo did not require any post-processing.

In my camera bag

I started amateur photography on the phone so that's what I usually carry along with me. I also carry a couple of phone-friendly macro as well as wide angle lens for nature photography.
