A nightly alley of the beautiful historic mountain village Palaios Panteleimonas.
At this time of the day it feels like you have the wonderful place all to yourself.
Sadly i missed an awesome opportunity: During one of the longer exposures there was a cat stepping into the frame, placing itself right in the golden ratio and looking perfectly in my direction. When the 60-second exposure was finished the little mouser had enough of posing and vanished silently in the dark again.
The contrast ratio of this scene was brutal by the way: Deep shadows, blinding lights and the full moon gave me a hard time in postprocessing this image. After checking multiple variations i decided to go for an overexposed moon, which looks to me far more natural and appealing than the tiny, correctly exposed version.
