Location
This photo is taken at Marken of Waterland, Netherlands. I have visit this small and peaceful village a couple of year ago.Time
It was probably at 11:00 am to 12:00pm. I remembered that I arrived at around 10:00 am in the morning, Walk around and find this inspiring scene.Lighting
The weather on that day was cloudy and the lighting was not so bright. Together with the scene got into my eyes, I decided to capture in a B&W tone.Equipment
Canon 40D, 18-55mm, no tripod and flash.Inspiration
I like walking around slowly at everyplace I visit because it can let me look in detail of the place and got my shot. I remember I was walking at the path along the shore and discover this peaceful corner with a boat parked near the wooden house. The scene attracted my eyes and I got several shots on it.Editing
This shot not require to much on post-processing. Only a bit tune on the contrast I remember. In my camera bag
My Canon Full Frame camera with wide angle lens, kit lens and a long shot lens.Feedback
Photography is a process of observe and patient. Feel what you think at the moment and you will get something surprise.
