Behind The Lens

Location

This shot is taken in Tokyo of Japan. This place is the entrance path of a Shrine known as Yasukuni Shrine. A place that commemorates those who died in war.

Time

This shot is taken on 17 March, 2020 at around 11:00 a.m. during my travel in Japan. A beautiful morning with excellent weather, I decided to talk a walk at this historical spot in Tokyo. Luckily there was not so many people around and I got a chance to press my shutter to stop this wonderful moment.

Lighting

With the special shape of the cloud and clear blue sky. The sunlight came from the side, made the contrast more significant in the photo.

Equipment

This shot is on my Canon EOS 6D Mark II, EF 17-40mm f/4L USM, ISO125, f/4, 1/250 with CPL filter.

Inspiration

I felt and wanted to keep the the peaceful and solemn of this place.

Editing

Adjustment on the contrast and saturation was applied on this pic.

In my camera bag

My bag usually with my EOS 6D Mark II, Canon EF 17-40mm, Tamron 35-150mm F2.8-4 Di VC OSD, Tamron 100-400mm F/4.5-6.3 DI VC OSD, CPL & ND Filter.
