Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my home town, in front of a series of beach wooden huts. There was a street lamp creating a good shadow at that specific moment of the day.

Time

I took this photo on July 22nd 2018 at 9.30 am more or less. As a family, we are used to go out early in the morning for a walk in our small town. While my son was playing around, I reached a series of beach huts at a short distance as I was looking for surfaces to take a photo of (I had to complete a brief for a very famous photo agency, hoping my photos would be selected*). * I do not think this was chosen unfortunately.

Lighting

I like natural light. I prefer taking photos in the morning or when the sun goes down if I want some particular effect for my photos.

Equipment

At that time I owned a Nikon D300s, no tripod, no flash, 50mm, F/5.6, 1/5000, ISO 200

Inspiration

I created the composition in my mind first.

Editing

Just a convertion to black and white and some light effect, no particular editing.

In my camera bag

My Sony Alpha A7 III is in good company: lens 70-200, 28-70 and 85 mm.
